Munters says it has secured an air-treatment contract with a major U.S. discount retailer, installing up to 120 dehumidifiers in approximately 60 stores.

The client, which Munters declined to name, was looking for a way to treat air outside its stores. Previously, most stores had only used dehumidification in stores which featured a grocery section. Munters said its indoor air quality products allowed it to maintain humidity levels for all areas of the stores — and cut energy costs.

“Awarding Munters this contract demonstrates the customer’s confidence in our ability to meet its needs,” said Todd Smith, a national accounts sales engineer for Munters.
