W.G. Tomko Inc. was responsible for the demolition, prefabrication and installation of the of the mechanical systems and ductwork in the gymnasium and pool area at Cohon Center. We had to model the entire duct system layout for pre-fabrication and install. Because of the large 50-inch anodized duct being installed and location required extreme prep. With detailed coordination and planning, Tomko successfully installed 2 rooftop units on a Saturday afternoon.
In this photo, mobile scaffolding is leveled in the pool and reached 50' for duct installation. Safety guidelines were strictly enforced due to the height of the scaffolding.
