It looks as though some companies are requiring their workers to only speak English on the jobsite. Once such company is a sheet metal shop in Connecticut. Unfortunately for the company, that rule is being challenged.

According to a recent article from the Hartford Courant and Fox, five employees who are legal immigrants from Mexico and Guatemala are suing the sheet metal shop they work for. The men claim that the English-only policy is discriminatory. But the shop says that it is an issue of safety.

So what do you think? Also, keep in mind that these employees are legal immigrants. This brings up another question. What do you think of the current immigration issue in terms of your business?
