DETROIT — Intervale Street is not a part of Detroit that is being included in the stories about the Motor City’s revival.

Just like you wouldn’t place your bed in front of a door or closet, you don’t just place an important piece of sheet metal machinery or a set of tools in a location that doesn’t benefit your sheet metal shop. It doesn’t make sense and it’s counterproductive.

Even though I’m an associate editor at SNIPS, it’s not every day that I get the opportunity to peruse the floor of a sheet metal shop. Shocking, right? 

Winter storms battering much of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic were no match for the 2016 AHR Expo, which drew almost 61,000 to Orlando, Florida.

Today marks the first day of the 2016 AHR Expo, as well as my first time attending a trade show. Needless to say, there's a lot to take in. 

Coincidentally enough, along with moving into the house, I’ve also moved into a new job title as the associate editor for SNIPS.
