The University of Alaska's new Career and Technical Education Center was built to match the equipment and workplaces that students will move onto after graduation. Combined, the new residences and the center support an associate’s degree in applied sciences approach to the school.
Keller Supply, the distributor who supplied this project, brought in Ecco Spiral Elbows to enhance the center's HVAC system.
“It was a real pleasure to work with Ecco in all aspects,” said brand manager Dana Cochran. “This college project was a great opportunity to bring in some of the coolest looking products I have seen. My contractor, Miller Sheet Metal, did a great job showcasing the products as well. A big shout out to Bill Miller.”
Ecco Spiral Elbow, manufactured by Ecco Heating Products Ltd. of Langley, British Columbia, is made of 26-gauge galvanized steel and has an airtight, four-ply seam construction with low friction loss. They’re available in 45- and 90-degree one and 1.5 center line from 4- to 18-inch diameter sizes. The elbows are easily installed and their visual continuity enhances the appearance in all installations, officials say.
The new center showcases the natural flow of the Ecco Spiral Elbows, providing a stunning addition to the open concept construction, according to Ecco officials.
