Malco is now offering a new version of its snips: the Max200 classic aviation snips. The company says the snips’ flexible, duo-colored, molded grips and stops, side-operated handle latch and torsion-style spring produce the classic fit and feel of more traditional aviation snips. The snips have a hardened blade edge in 18-gauge galvanized or mild steel. The snips come in standard left, right and combination cutting models, and have wide-opening jaws with a serrated lower blade for fast controlled cuts. Ground blade tips are also able to cut into tight spaces and flush to 90-degree walls, officials add.
