Tool company Irwin launches HVAC construction contest
Toolmaker Irwin is seeking the public’s help in finding the country’s ultimate trades professional.
Irwin Tools has launched the Ultimate Tradesman Contest. HVAC construction or other workers throughout North America are asked to nominate themselves or others for a chance to win a new Ford F-150 truck and one of nine monthly tool prize packages worth up to $250.
“We are excited to launch a program that will give communities an opportunity to join us in celebrating the trade professionals who make a positive difference in each of our lives,” said Nick Mastrone, Irwin’s vice president of marketing. “Irwin Tools has always looked for new ways to honor the men and women who play a critical role in building and maintaining our country’s infrastructure, beginning with National Tradesmen Day four years ago and now with our search to find the ultimate tradesman. We look forward to reading the submissions and continuing to celebrate all that trade professionals do to contribute so meaningfully to our lives.”
The contest runs through June 30. Entries must include a short essay on why the nominee has made a difference in his or her community. A contestant may only nominate one person.
The contest is open to adults in the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska, and residents over the age of majority in Canada. For nominating forms and official rules, visit www.irwin.com/nominateatradesman
