Companies from Quebec, France and Illinois are among the 14 honored by Johnson Controls at the recent fifth annual Supplier Excellence Recognition Awards.

The HVAC market company recognized companies that provided excellent customer service as well as on-time equipment deliveries with the Excellence in Execution Award. Johnson Controls also gave suppliers that support its values a Leadership Award.

“Johnson Controls’ supplier partners from around the world are an important part of our continued strategy to provide customers with quality support and services,” said Terry Nadeau, vice president of procurement in Johnson Controls’ building efficiency division. “We are pleased to recognize this year’s recipients of the Johnson Controls Excellence in Execution Award and the Johnson Controls Leadership Award and thank them for their partnership and support.”

Winners of the Excellence in Execution Award were:

            Gold Award: Future Electronics of Pointe-Claire, Quebec

            Silver Award: Arkema Inc. of Colombes, France

            Bronze Award: Atlas Steel of Twinsburg, Ohio

            Bronze Award: E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. of Wilmington, Del.

            Bronze Award: Eaton of Dublin

            Bronze Award: CPI Fluid Engineering of Midland, Mich.

            Bronze Award: Pratt Industries of Conyers, Ga.

The Leadership Award winners in each category were:

            Innovation: W.W. Grainger Inc. of Lake Forest, Ill.

            Sustainability: Philips Lighting NA of Somerset, N.J.

            Continuous improvement: WEG Electric Corp. of Duluth, Ga.

            Shareholder value: Setra Systems Inc. of Boxborough, Mass.

            Global growth: Allied Machinery Co. Ltd. of Hampshire, England

            Customer satisfaction: Kele Inc. of Memphis, Tenn.

             Quality: Pacesetter Steel Service Inc. of Kennesaw, Ga.
