Metl-Span has opened its seventh manufacturing facility to produce its Envolution line of architectural panels.

Jeff Irwin, Metl-Span’s executive vice president and general manager, said the product line provides architects and designers with support and services they need to handle most design challenges.

“Whether you’re designing a building that has the aesthetics of a football or a spaceship or most anything else, we can help you do it,” he said. “We can provide panels that are folded, curved, tapered or require special edge joints or special widths to satisfy virtually all custom designs.”

The 109,000-square-foot plant, located in Colonial Heights, Va., will make products destined for the Eastern U.S.
