The Ridgid micro CA-300 is the latest handheld inspection camera from this company. The camera allows contractors to document jobsite problems. The unit records still images and videos, and integrates audio with a built-in microphone and speaker. The micro CA-300 features user-adjustable image rotation and digital zoom for viewing. The unit comes equipped an anodized aluminum camera head with four bright LEDs to provide improved lighting. The camera is powered by a rechargeable 3.7-volt lithuium-ion battery that is compatible with the MicroExplorer inspection camera. It can also be plugged directly into the wall for an alternate power supply. The tool also comes with a 4-gigabyte SD card that is pre-formatted with an application that provides for uploading to RidgidConnect, an online business tool that allows users to store and share data. The camera also includes a USB port for direct connection to a computer.
