Three more companies have joined the ClimateTalk Alliance.

Davis Energy Group, Qualcomm Technologies Inc. and Synapse Electronique are the newest members of the group. The alliance works on creating standards that allow “plug and play” connectivity and works with home mechanical systems.

Davis is a mechanical engineering and consulting firm. Synapse Electronique is a Quebec-based manufacturer of energy-efficiency electronic products. Qualcomm is digital communications company.

“We are pleased to welcome our new members to the ClimateTalk alliance,” said alliance Chairman Craig Johnson.

Johnson is president of White-Rodgers.

“Their membership enables us to expand the foundation of ClimateTalk to include wireless and Smart Grid solutions that carry the same simplicity and flexibility needed for success in integrated, smart residential systems,” he said.
