Malco has added three new carbide tipped hole saws to its current line. The new sizes include 2 9/16 inches, 3 5/8 inches and 4 5/8 inches. With the new saws, Malco now offers 19 hole saw sizes. The hole saws feature carbide tipped teeth with deep self-cleaning gullets and a 2 ¼-inch cutting depth. They make fast and easy work of cutting large or small holes in a variety of thick or layered building materials, said company representatives. The saws can cut through fiber-cement, wood, wall tile, fiberglass, plastics and more. The full “quick action” selection shares a unique quick-connect arbor design for the quick release and ejection of thick saw plugs. The company also says that changing out hole saws or pilot drills is fast and easy. Extra-long pilot drills extend a full inch beyond the hole saw teeth to cut through uneven surfaces such as lap siding. The product can be seen in action by going to the Malco website.
