Trumpf marks decade in Mexico
Machinery and tool manufacturer Trumpf Inc. recently celebrated 10 years of operating in Mexico.
“Trumpf has been committed to the Mexican market for the past decade,” said company President and CEO Rolf Biekert. “Through our presence in Mexico, we have invested heavily in the country’s economic development and its people. We look forward to continued support of our customers in this region for a very long time to come.”
The company filed to do business in Mexico June 6, 2000. From a small sales and service operation, today Trumpf has a $10 million manufacturing facility and 4,200-square-foot showroomin the city of Monterrey.
“We are continually looking for ways to increase our own efficiency and in turn improve our service to our customers,” Jorge Areyzaga, Trumpf’s managing director in Mexico. “We look forward to a bright future in Mexico.”
