The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National
Association handed out its Chapter Excellence Awards during its April 28-May 1
conference in Arlington, Va.
The awards are
intended to recognize a chapter’s achievement in both management and service to
PHCC members. The Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Texas
was recognized in the category of state chapters with more than 200
members.
The Greater Indianapolis PHCC was recognized in the
category of local associations with 26 to 50 members, while the St. Joe Valley
PHCC in Indiana was recognized in the category of local associations with less
than 25 members.
In addition, the Indiana PHCC received special recognition for innovative
programs and services. Also, the Florida PHCC, Indiana PHCC and Pinellas PHCC
chapters earned PHCC’s Distinguished Chapter designation for 2009.
The
awards included both a permanent plaque for the chapter and a token of
appreciation to the state or local executive director for overall achievement.
The 2009 panel of judges was comprised of chapter relations executives from
various construction-related trade associations.
