Spectronics Corp. says its new product allows technicians to add the exact amount of fluorescent dye into air-conditioning and refrigeration systems without wasting a drop of dye. The two new EZ-Ject Dye Injection Kits each feature the EZ-50 dye injector assembly, an AC hose/coupler with check valve and quarter-inch flare low-loss fitting, two EZ-Ject dye cartridges and a purge fitting. The company claims that the compact EZ-Ject dye injector is easy to use because it requires only one connection to add dye into an air-conditioning and refrigeration system. The dye cartridges are calibrated to provide precision dosing and contains enough Ar-Glo fluorescent dye to treat two gallons of lubricant, 25 pounds of refrigerant or 12 tons of cooling. The EZ-Ject kits come in clamshell packages.
