The prize was part of the Great Klein Tools 150th Anniversary Extravaganza promotion.
“At first I was in disbelief when I heard from Klein Tools. I’ve never won anything big before, so I was shocked and surprised,” said Jena.
In conjunction with its anniversary, the Klein Tools contest randomly selected participants to win prizes. Contestants entered by visiting the Klein Tool’s Web site.
Elizabeth Garner of Spring, Texas, was the first-place winner of $1,000 in Klein Tools products. Erin Zieroth of Oak Forest, Ill., was the second-place winner and received $500 in products.
In addition to the top prize winners, the contest randomly awarded 24 weekly prize packages of select Klein anniversary gear that included hats, shirts, key chains, coasters and cards. Klein also held a monthly drawing that awarded six winners special edition Journeyman 150th anniversary tools.
“With more than 56,000 entrants, the Great Klein Tools 150th Anniversary Extravaganza was a great way to acknowledge loyal customers who have contributed to our success in the past 150 years,” said Abby Ceppos, associate director of marketing for Klein Tools. “We were able to reach out to a new, expanding marketplace of potential customers through multiple channels with an exciting, integrated promotional campaign.”
