The new Auto-Cut 100 plasma-cutting system from Thermal Dynamics uses the company's XT Torch technology to achieve a higher level of performance, according to the company. The company also reports that to lower the cost of operation, the system incorporates the MaximumLife technology that delivers 100-amp cut speeds. The cutting system also has the XT-301 consumable parts cartridge system that locates the exact center line of cut after process changes. For optimum cutting of stainless, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, the system has water mist secondary capability.
