The 3P Series press brakes with three-point bending provide bend accuracy, reductions in setup time, longer tool life and processing flexibility, according to the company. The 3P bending technology provides better control of the ram stopping point by providing a positive stop in the lower die. A beam design using a water cushion eliminates the effects of beam deflection. Three-point bending refers to the three points on the bottom of the material being formed, so there are four points of contact between the tools and the material, the company said.
