This Wisconsin-based company has developed the 750 Series Fiber Optic Buscouplers for Profibus and Interbus-S for applications where EMC and long distances are a concern. For Profibus fieldbus users, a single fiber topology is used for transmission speeds up to 1500 kBaud (adjustable with a DIP switch.) For interbus-S users, a double fiber topology is offered through a 500kBaud F-SMA connection. In both cases, a 1,000 mm APF fiber is used as the transmission medium with HP simplex connectors.
