Duct board
October 1, 2003
Air Duct Board-AGM includes a lightweight glass mat on the airstream surface, allowing a smoother, cleaner cut, the company says. The AGM face, combined with the foil-scrim-kraft facing on the opposite side, is said to make the product more comfortable to handle and install. It is available in thickness of 1-, 1.5- and 2 inches, in both EI-475 and EI-800 variations. It is suitable for use with velocities up to 5,000 feet per minute, 2-inch water gauge static pressure, and operating temperatures up to 250¿F. The airstream surface is also treated with an Environmental Protection Agency-registered anti-microbial agent.
