The NRCA has made available its Best Employment Practices for the Roofing Industry report.

The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has made available its Best Employment Practices for the Roofing Industry report.

The report is based on a research project conducted by the National Roofing Foundation, a separate but related educational and research organization of NRCA. The report provides contractors with ideas and models that can be used to recruit, develop and retain field employees. The report also helps contractors review, analyze and improve employment outcomes to address immediate field staffing needs and alleviate worker shortages.

NTCA also recently released its NRCA 2001-02 Annual Market Survey. The survey provides statistics and information about the roofing market, including commercial and residential roofing activity, roofing material usage, regional breakdowns, insulation installations by material type, roofing squares applied by respondents, and industry sales volume.

For either the report or the survey contact NRCA InfoExpress at 866-ASK-NRCA (275-6722); fax 847-299-1183; or visit http.//shop.nrca.net.
