Venting system
April 23, 2001
"Ameri-Vent Direct," designed for direct vent hearth appliances, features a rigid, dimensionally stable stainless steel inner wall that provides superior corrosion resistance and withstands higher temperatures. Seam leakage is virtually eliminated with welded seam construction. The inner wall only allows for heat expansion during appliance cycling. The wall is crack and leak resistant. A factory-installed high temperature graphite inner wall seal is self-lubricating, non-hardening and has a working temperature of more than 800°F. A patent-pending "Ameri-Lock" twist lock design makes for secure, easy connections and 360° rotation.
