The Helix-3600 automatic spiral tube former cuts through 3- to 64-inch diameter galvanized steel with thickness of 30- to 18 gauge at up to 190 feet per minute. It comes equipped with the Helix Flying Slitter, which cuts tubes to length without gas, noise, fumes and sparks, and without the need for ventilation, company officials said. Another model, the Helix-3600H has a faster speed - 230 fpm, and cuts through galvanized steel tubing with a diameter of 3- to 100 inches and 30- to 14-gauge thickness.
