Geothermal systems manufacturer WaterFurnace International reccetly honored top distributors and dealers for 2002.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - WaterFurnace International, manufacturer of geothermal systems, honored top distributors and dealers for 2002 at its recent annual sales meeting.

The manufacturer named Peters Heating and AC of Quincy, Ill., as its top dealer for 2002. Peters Heating and AC, the top dealer in 2001, as well, also won the "E" Series Award, for outstanding sales of WaterFurnace's E Series geothermal heat pumps.

Comfort Products Distributing in Omaha, Neb., was the company's top distributor for 2002. Beltsville, Md.-based Chesapeake Systems won the WFI Award as the top commercial representative.

Other dealers honored included Smith & Associates, Knoxville, Tenn., and Johnson Comfort Systems, Inc., Lime Springs, Ohio (both for E Series sales); Energy Systems, Pensacola, Fla.; Toennies Service Co., Damiansville, Ill.; and Sisler Heating & Cooling, Medina, Ohio.

Other distributors honored were Thermal Supply Inc., Seattle; Eden Energy Equipment Ltd, Guelph, Ontario; Bradford Industrial Supply, Oklahoma City; Le Groupe Master, Montreal; Hydron-Aire Ltd., Vermette, Manitoba (all outstanding sales); and Tropic Supply, Miami. (top growth). Bradford Industrial Supply won the distributors' E Series Award.

West region

Guyton A/C in Waco, Texas, was named the West's top dealer for 2002. Crystal Air Heating & Air Conditioning of Weaverville, Calif., was named outstanding new dealer. Southwest Air Conditioning & Heating, Abilene, Texas, was honored for top growth during 2002.

Other dealers honored by WaterFurnace included Egan & Hinson in Houston, for outstanding sales of WaterFurnace's E Series geothermal heat pumps; Earth Energy Systems, Santa Rosa, Calif., C&S Heat & Air Conditioning, Norman, Okla.; Environmental Control Spec. Corp., Kansas City, Mo.; and K&S Construction, Denton, Texas.

Central region

Peters Heating and AC was named the Central region's top Dealer for 2002. Peebles Heating & Air Conditioning in Evans, Ga., was named outstanding new dealer. Tennill Refrigeration of Shelbyville, Ky., was honored for top growth during 2002.

East region

Median, Ohio-based Sisler Heating & Cooling was named the East's top dealer for 2002. Garnett Refrigeration in Spotsylvania, Va., was named outstanding new dealer. Sisler Heating & Cooling also was honored for top growth during 2002.

Other dealers honored included A&A Air Service, Selbyville, Del.; Horseman Heating & Air Conditioning, Gladys, Va.; and A&B Cooling & Heating, Manchester, Conn. Bill Meese, of the Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative in Wellington, Ohio, won a Friend of WaterFurnace Award for his dedication to promoting geothermal technology.
