Connecting system
November 30, 2000
The 790 Series Shielding Connecting System provides quick and secure connections of standard shield cables to 10 mm copper busbars mounted in a perpendicular or parallel arrangement or to panel-mounted commoning plates. The clamping saddle uses spring material which helps compensate for inconsistencies in cable braiding, making it suitable for use in high-vibration applications. The shield connectors can be mounted close to the unshielded portion of the cable and are actuated by tightening a knurled thumbscrew. Four variations are available.
