CHANTILLY, Va. - SMACNA has presented a $10,000 contribution to help fund ASHRAE's research foundation.

CHANTILLY, Va. - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association has presented a $10,000 contribution to the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers' Research Foundation.

SMACNA has designated this money to support the ASHRAE research project "Under-floor Air Distribution - Life Cycle Cost and Environmental Analysis" and has encouraged its local chapters to support this project as well.

An original member of the ASHRAE Gold Circle, SMACNA has contributed $110,000 during the past 11 years since the club's formation.
