WASHINGTON - In a move designed to increase residential sales leads for its members, NADCA has launched a referral program at home-improvement retail chains in three regions of the country.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association is set to partner with Home Depot stores in Texas, Orchard Supply Hardware stores in California, and Aubuchon Hardware stores in New England and upstate New York. These stores will begin referring customers who inquire about HVAC system cleaning to NADCA members who do business within the store's area.
"We've certainly had our share of inquiries about HVAC system cleaning, but we just haven't known where to point our customers," said Aubuchon Hardware marketing director Michael Mattson. "By bringing NADCA into the fold, we now have a clear and credible message about HVAC cleaning, and we advance our capability as a one-stop shop."
According to NADCA, the initiative is designed to increase consumer awareness of the role HVAC system hygiene plays in a healthy home, as well as promote the importance of contracting with a NADCA-member company.
Consumers will become aware of the program through point-of-sale displays, as well as media campaigns in local newspapers. NADCA not only hopes to reach residential customers, but commercial decision makers.
Based on the success of the pilot program in these three regions, NADCA hopes to expand it nationally by pursuing alliances with additional Home Depot regional offices and other home improvement retailers.
