BuildingIQ, a maker of HVAC construction software, has put out version 4.0 of its program, which saves up to 25 percent in energy expenses, the company says.

The cloud-based service has what the manufacturer calls an “intuitive” interface and a real-time look into energy operations for the HVAC market. Changes can be made based on occupant comfort, building comfort and other variables.

Software customers are given continuous access to BuildingIQ engineering experts, who can make recommendations to boost green HVAC operations.

“From boiler room to boardroom we want to make the implementation of our Predictive Energy Optimization software as straight forward and integrated as possible,” said BuildingIQ President and CEO Michael Nark. “BuildingIQ’s new enhancements provide more support and increased visibility into a buildings operations and energy usage. We also eliminate the risk when choosing our solution by offering it on a subscription basis and guarantee the delivery of energy savings without upfront capital required. Users are essentially signing up for free cash flow.”
