The new site was several years in the making, and incorporates the latest thinking on visitor-friendly design and incorporation of social media. The fact you’re reading this blog shows that you knew where to find it — and that’s a good start.

This new site is designed to look good no matter where you view it: on your desktop computer, laptop, tablet computer or smartphone. And we’re committed to offering more exclusive online content, with beefed-up photo galleries, podcasts, videos and online-only articles. And if you see something you like, it’s easier than ever to share it through Facebook and Twitter.

One change to keep in mind is that the new site does require site registration. While the need to give a little bit of information is not my favorite new feature, many news and information websites do require it today. It allows us to keep providing all our content without cost while providing advertisers and potential advertisers a bit of knowledge about who visits this website. Even I had to register to view the new And I can attest it was relatively painless and quick.
