Hopefully by now you have had a chance to read our 80th anniversary issue.
It some ways, it really does not feel like it has been five years since I welcomed readers to SNIPS’ 75th anniversary issue.
Much of our staff of March 2007 remains intact, from art director Nicole Bonkoski and associate editor James J. Siegel, to marketing manager Petra Cady, publisher Sally Fraser and me. That’s a testament to how much we enjoy working at parent company BNP Media as well as putting together this magazine for our many loyal readers.
I would like to thank everybody who helped put this issue together, especially Ray Yeager, CEO of Ductmate, and Maryland contractor Arnold Kieffer, who talked to us about why they saved an issue or issues, and our many advertisers that pulled 50- or 60-year-old ads out of their archives to reprint.
Here's to the next eight decades of Snips.
