Jobs is the buzzword. President Barack
Obama is urging Congress to pass the American Jobs Act, which he says would
create jobs for millions of people, including construction workers. Also, you’ve
got the Republic presidential debates. In every debate I’ve watched, the big
questions for the 2012 hopefuls is “What will you do to create jobs?”
I
wish I knew what the answer was. And I wish I knew whether President Obama’s
jobs bill will put people back to work. At the very least, you need to have the
capital to hire employees, and you also need to have the available work in
order to hire new individuals. But from listening to some of the Republican
candidates, it sounds as though it is more than this. Some say taxes are too
high. Some say that “Obamacare” has scared businesses from bringing on new
employees. I don’t own a business and I don’t manage employees, so I’m not sure
what the answer is. However, many of our readers do.
So what
is your answer? If you are waiting to hire employees, what is holding you back?
