It’s only mid-October, so it might be too early to start speculating about 2011. However, in the world of print journalism, we have to work a few months in advance. With that in mind, Snips is currently working on the features that will appear in our December issue. That issue, every year, focuses on the year ahead. So what are your predictions?

It’s safe to say that 2010 has been economically dismal, and not just for the construction industry. Unemployment has hovered around 9.5 percent for months. It seems like there is no end in sight. But some experts say that things have gotten better. Improvements have happened, they have just come along slowly.

So what do you think 2011 will be bringing to your company? Do you get the feeling that customers are going to start buying again? Do you see more sheet metal and HVAC projects coming down the line? Or is it going to be more of the same? And if you do feel that 2011 is going to look a lot like 2010, what are you going to do to fight back and stay profitable? Let us know. We always love to hear how our readers are doing and what they are planning for the future.
