I spent a couple days last week in Nashville, Tenn., attending the Spiral Duct Manufacturers Association's annual summer meeting (look for coverage soon in Snips). I was able to enjoy one warm, sunny day and nice evening visiting the honky tonks along the city's famed Broadway street.
But the rain started Saturday morning -- and apparently, it didn't stop until a day or so ago. Nashville is experiencing its worst flooding in more than 40 years. Hotels and roads have been closed.
Our flight home Saturday afternoon was one of the roughest I've experienced. But I made it. Unfortunately, a number of SPIDA members were stuck and spent the weekend trying to get home. I hope everybody made it.
