A popular local television show here in San Francisco is called “Best of the Bay.”
The show aims to give viewers a look at the leading local businesses when it
comes to customer service. Each year, the program nominates companies to be
named the “Best of the Bay” in several different categories. Categories range
from arts and entertainment to dining, shopping, pet services and a whole lot
more.
Recently, the program aired its nominees and the
winner of its 2009 Best of The Bay Award in the category of heating and air
conditioning. Seven companies from various parts of the Bay Area were
nominated. The 2009 winner was A-1 Guaranteed Heating and Air in Vallejo, Calif.
What’s
great about the show, and the show’s Web site, is that you get to hear from the
owners of each nominated company. You also get to see what all of these
different companies are doing and how they are best serving their customers. If
I were a heating and air-conditioning contractor, I would definitely want to
make it on to this list. The amount of information available to customers is
outstanding. And it is also refreshing to hear the company owners talk about
their goals and why they feel they are the best in the Bay Area.
I’m
sure there are several other local television stations that produce a similar program. If you want to check out the nominated
companies in the Bay Area, you can go to this Web site:www.bestofthebaytv.com/category/165/Heating
& Air Conditioning.
