This summer, the SMACNA Detroit chapter invited local golfers to the green for its 52nd Annual Golf Outing at Indianwood Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan to raise money for the Detroit Fireman's Fund.

Representatives at the event, held Aug. 13, 2018, said they were extremely grateful and genuinely overwhelmed by the donations in support of Detroit’s first responders. And SMACNA Detroit gives special thanks to the event's sponsors:
