Discipline, documentation and various legal aspects of human resources issues were among the topics discussed at HARDI’s first human resources workshop.

The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International hosted the event April 18-19 at the association’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

The workshop was led by Pam Krivda, HARDI’s human resources consulting programs facilitator.

“HARDI members have a lot of talented individuals covering the HR side of business,” Krivda said. “This group was very engaged and solution-minded when it came to their questions. It was my pleasure to share insights from my experience with them, and I look forward to continuing to work with HARDI members through the consulting program and future workshops.”

Tina Ginn of Corken Steel Products Co. said that although she has been in the human resources field for a long time, she felt she learned a lot.
