The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers launched a redesigned version of its website.

According to association officials, the website, which is is responsive to all devices, offers a customized experience with targeted content, providing the ability for local content to appear on the member’s own webpage.

“Visitors are now able to move seamlessly between learning, planning and participating online,” said Jeff Littleton, ASHRAE executive director. “We are excited about the possibilities that this website will provide to our visitors.”

The new search, powered by Amazon Elasticsearch Service, includes relevant results from other ASHRAE sites such its bookstore, e-learning platform and technology portal, said company officials.

2017-18 ASHRAE president Bjarne W. Olesen, Ph.D., said the updated website is beneficial for its members and partners.

“Our website visitors want to quickly find the information they need, whether they are searching from their desk or from a smartphone,” said Olesen. “We believe that this website speaks vividly to ASHRAE’s leadership in the industry as well as the passionate support of our members.”
