AEC BuildTech organizers are seeking presenters and proposals for the 2019 trade show and conference scheduled for April 30-May 2, 2019, in Rosemont, Illinois.

The submission deadline is Aug. 31.

The event at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center will bring architects, engineers and construction contractors together to learn about new technologies and products, officials say.

Officials with show owner BNP Media (Snips' parent company) say submissions will be evaluated by an educational advisory board made up of BNP brand editors, including Art Aisner, Roofing Contractor editor; Jen Anesi-Brombach, chief editor of Plumbing & Mechanical; Kyle Gargaro, editor-in-chief of the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News; Tanja Kern, group editorial director of the flooring Group/Floor Trends; Mike Miazga, group editorial director of the plumbing group/Supply House Times; Nadine Post, editor-at-large of Engineering News-Record; and Derrick Teal, corporate content deployment manager.

Many of the planned sessions will be eligible for continuing-education credits. Seminars are expected to include discussions dealing with plumbing, HVAC/mechanical systems, flooring, building envelope and roofing issues.

“We thank the editors of our publications for forming this dynamic educational advisory board," said BNP Media co-CEO Tagg Henderson. “They have been directed to craft a conference that will offer advanced educational programs that will give attendees essential information about new technologies, applications and policies that affect everyone in the industry. AEC BuildTech was created to include every discipline in the industry, and collaboration is a key topic at this event. We are confident our advisory board will create an educational program that will promote this and create positive change in the industry.”

Other BNP brands participating in the show’s launch include Architectural Record, Building Enclosure, ClearSeas Research, Contemporary Stone & Tile Design, Engineered Systems, Floor Covering Installer, Floor Trends, National Driller, PM Engineer, Point of Beginning, Reeves Journal, Restoration & Remediation, Snap, Stone World, Tile Magazine, Walls & Ceilings and Snips.
