The Metal Construction Association awarded its Patrick R. Bush Volunteer Service Award to Scott Moffatt of PPG Industries for his contributions to the organization’s annual and semiannual meetings.

The award was presented at MCA’s winter meeting, Jan. 22-24 in San Diego.

“Not only did Scott improve attendance at the meetings by selecting more appealing venues and enhancing the schedule of events, he pulled a magic trick by making the events more cost-effective at the same time,” said MCA Executive Director Karl Hielscher. “His efforts have revitalized MCA’s meetings and we are very grateful.”

Moffatt serves as the architectural market manager for the coil and extrusion groups at PPG and is a seven-year member of MRA, two-year board member and a program committee chairman.
