Chicago area-based HVAC distributor Munch’s Supply LLC purchased Kansas-based O’Connor Co. Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
The deal will bring six more branches in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri to Munch’s 12 existing locations in Chicago, northwest Indiana and Michigan.

O’Connor Co. will operate as an independent company. It will retain its management team and locations in Lenexa, Kansas; Urbandale, Iowa; Omaha, Nebraska; Wichita, Kansas; Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The current O’Connor operations executive director, Greg Borr, will be president of O’Connor Co.

O’Connor sells Trane, American Standard, Mitsubishi, Honeywell, Bosch and other lines.
