DAP is introducing two new sealants formulated specifically for HVAC professionals. Its HVAC Silicone and High Temp Silicone sealants offer improved durability and performance for a long-lasting seal in extreme applications, company officials say. DAP’s HVAC Silicone sealant is safe for incidental food contact and offers a weather-resistant seal. The sealants are available in white, clear and aluminum colors and feature a service temperature range of below 40°F to 475°F. The High Temp Silicone sealant is designed for temperature applications up to 550°F and offers multi-material bond strength. The sealant is red in color for easy identification and is 100 percent waterproof.
