Force5’s HVAC spray works as a corrosion inhibitor, lubricant and cleaner to protect heat exchange fins and cooling coils. HVAC condensers, evaporator fins and cooling coils are prone to corrosion in humid, moist or high-salt settings. The Force5 HVAC spray penetrates into those metal parts to prevent rust and corrosion, while forming a bond that repels water and other contaminants, company officials say. The spray can also loosen and remove existing rust from HVAC system components. Force5 officials say using the spray annually during an HVAC checkup can extend the life of the unit. One 12-ounce spray container can treat up to two evaporator units. Five-liter bulk containers are also available for commercial use.
