Astrophysicist and author Neil deGrasse Tyson has been tapped as closing keynote speaker for this year’s Greenbuild.

The host of “Cosmos” and the “StarTalk” podcast is schedule to appear at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at Boston’s main convention center during the sustainable construction conference.

“Greenbuild has become the defining moment each year for the green building world to convene, and it’s a place where the future of our movement is shaped,” said Mahesh Ramanujam, U.S. Green Building Council president and CEO. “Dr. Tyson’s clarity and wit as a respected science expert will challenge and invigorate our community to address the many serious issues affecting the environment and our world today.”

Greenbuild takes place Nov. 8-10 and will be held in conjunction with the ArchitectureBoston Expo. More information is here.
