Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International has relaunched its networking app, HARDI Hub.

The new app can help attendees navigate trade show floors, swipe through speaker presentations, take notes and network with other guests. The app can also order an Uber car for the user.

“The HARDI Hub app is an expanded initiative we are launching as part of our overall efforts to add to the growing value of HARDI’s networking event,” said Chris DeBoer, HARDI’s marketing manager. “The new app has a central hub, which will house five 2017 HARDI events within itself. I am confident our members that attend our events will find great value in this powerful tool throughout the entire year.”

App users also have access to names and contact information for all conference attendees as well as in-app messaging, allowing attendees to network with each other before, during and after the event.

“In the HVAC (and refrigeration) distribution industry, B2B (business-to-business) marketing is a primary source of sales and business relationships,” said Eileen Mantel, networking and conferences manager at HARDI. “HARDI conferences serve to provide members and attendees with valuable information to help improve their business, as well as serve as a hub where key members and decision makers can come together and connect. HARDI Hub is a great tool to help facilitate making meaningful connections.”

The HARDI Hub app can be downloaded via Apple’s app store or Google Play.
