Esab’s Sentinel A50 high-performance welding helmet features an adjustable five-point headgear, a 100-by-60 mm viewing area, an externally activated grind button, a color touchscreen control panel and a front-loading convex cover lens that is available in different colors. Company officials say operators will notice greater comfort, improved weight distribution, and a clear and consistent view of the weld puddle. The helmet’s digital lens technology gives the welder full control to adjust shade and sensitivity, and the interface offers eight memory settings. The Sentinel A50 weighs 28 ounces.
