Johnstone Supply Inc. celebrated the opening of its 400th location in Toms River, New Jersey, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new 12,500-square-foot location is part of the Kenilworth Group, which is owned and operated by Bob Zimmermann and his wife, Kate, as well as Zimmermann’s brother, Bud, and sister Marydette Holt. The Zimmermanns joined the cooperative in 1987 with the opening of their first store in Kenilworth, New Jersey, and now own six locations.

“The Zimmermanns represent some of the very finest of members in the cooperative,” Johnston Supply CEO DeWight Wallace said. “We were all very excited that their group would be opening the 400th location.”

As part of Johnstone Supply’s ongoing program to remodel and relocate their facilities, the Toms River location contains 4,000 square feet of showroom space and an 8,500-square-foot warehouse.
