The RSES has released a new chapter of its service application manual titled “The Basics of Pre-Season AC Maintenance.”

The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society’s manual contains thousands of pages of technical data, equipment analyses and evaluations, field application instruction, regulations, good practice codes and business development guidance.

Written by Darryl Robertson of Regal Beloit Corp., the chapter details pre-season air-conditioning system maintenance and important preventive procedures that include inspecting the motor, the fan blade, the wiring harness drip look, the capacitor and other components.
