Abco HVACR Supply & Solutions, Auer Steel Heating and Supply, R.B. Akins Co., and projects ranging from residences to a coliseum were among the HVAC construction companies and projects recognized by Mitsubishi in its Design Excellence Awards.

The companies received their awards at Mitsubishi Electric’s recent Diamond Partner Conference. Other winners were Applied Product Solutions and E Solutions for Buildings LLC.

“Each of these installations exemplifies the versatility and flexibility our VRF (variable refrigerant flow) technology brings to designs for specific applications,” said Mark Kuntz, senior vice president with Mitsubishi Electric. “Congratulations to the winners in each business unit for some truly remarkable projects.”
