HVAC market mercury recovery group Thermostat Recycling Corp. has a new executive director.

Ryan Kiscaden, formerly the group’s national accounts director, was promoted to the position formerly held by Mark Tibbetts.

Prior to joining TRC, Kiscaden was business development manager at HVAC sales firm APR Supply Co.

“Ryan brings significant understanding of the vital role each stakeholder plays in achieving the goals of TRC,” said Thermostat Recycling Corp. board Chairman Dan O’Donnell. “Together with his extreme professionalism and industry knowledge, we are confident that TRC’s program will continue to be strengthened to maximize results.”

TRC is a manufacturer-funded group that works to keep mercury from thermostats from being improperly disposed of and leeching into the environment.
