The president of a commercial HVAC market manufacturer has joined AHRI’s board of directors.

Cambridge Engineering President and Chief Executive Officer John Kramer was named to the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute’s board Feb. 18.

Cambridge makes energy-efficient high-temperature heating and ventilation direct-fired gas products.

“I’m humbled by this appointment to the industry’s trade association and to be engaged and supportive in their activities,” Kramer said. “AHRI is a fantastic advocate of quality manufacturers and allows me to have a voice and show support for growing the HVAC industry.”

The AHRI represents most of the major North American HVAC market manufacturers.

Current association President and CEO Steven Yurek said Kramer will be a great addition to the group.

“We are pleased to welcome someone of John Kramer’s energy and enthusiasm to the AHRI board of directors, and we look forward to having the benefit of his knowledge and insight as the board considers the many challenges and opportunities facing our industry,” he said.
